What are credits (credits vs. intern credits)
Credits are your company's operating budget for AI employees to work. There are two wallets, and what differs is how they refill.
- Credits: tasks and hiring come out of here. Refilled monthly by your plan, and you can top up if you need more. Unused credits carry over for up to one month.
- Intern credits: refilled every morning for small stuff. Chatting with your team draws from here. No carryover (each morning overwrites with that day's amount).
What a task costs is those two things combined: how much the employee thought (higher tiers cost more, intern 1 : team-member tier 4 : team-lead tier 10) plus a fixed amount per step.
When a task starts, the estimate is held up front, and only what's actually used is settled when it finishes. If it used less, the difference comes back. You can check what's left and your usage history anytime in Settings > Credits.
Even when credits run out, the office stays alive. You can still talk to your team, and a blocked task can be finished with "Run it with just the interns?", which spends intern credits instead (quality may be lower than usual, and that fact is shown on the result).
